Huss Valley Guides: Controls, Movement, and First Rounds
Learn the crossing game before turning a crowded match into a guessing game. Start with your runner or catcher role, then use a focused guide for keyboard inputs or momentum. Choose the explanation that addresses what stopped your last crossing.
Learn the role, then solve the movement problemLearn the Huss Valley crossing loop, find the keyboard controls, and understand momentum before choosing a more demanding route.

Learn the role, then solve the movement problem
Runners try to cross a rectangular arena to the opposite side. Chasers try to catch them, and caught runners join the chasing side in the following round. The beginner guide explains that loop and gives your first session a useful destination. Understanding why the teams change makes a crowded later round easier to read.
The controls guide and movement guide answer different questions. Controls tells you the documented keys for moving, a sideways dash, and interaction. Movement explains gradual acceleration and deceleration so you can plan a direction change earlier. If you know the keys but keep turning too late, choose movement rather than rereading an input list. If you cannot initiate the intended action, choose controls before trying a more complicated route.

Start with the beginner guide to identify your role and finish side. Add the controls guide if keyboard actions are unfamiliar.
Why separate movement from controls?
Knowing the input and timing a direction change are different problems. The momentum guide explains why a late turn can leave you exposed.
